🏢 **About Us:** A leading food manufacturing company specializing in premium condiments, mayonnaise, and culinary sauces is seeking an experienced Head Food Technologist to lead our R&D and production quality. Our modern production facility is located in Milwaukee, WI.
🧪 **Core Duties:**
• Formulate and develop new recipes for mayonnaise, ketchups, salad dressings, and culinary sauces.
• Control the preparation and stability of fat emulsions during the manufacturing process.
• Setup, regulate, and optimize the operation of high-shear mixers and homogenizers.
• Enforce strict adherence to internal quality standards, FDA food safety regulations, and HACCP protocols.
• Conduct shelf-life testing, sensory evaluations, and scale-up from lab batches to full production runs.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to texture, viscosity, and emulsion breakdown.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the food industry, specifically with emulsions, sauces, or dressings.
• Deep understanding of fat emulsion chemistry, homogenization processes, and ingredient functionality.
• Proven track record of developing commercially successful food products and managing QC standards.
