🚚 **B2B Freight & Logistics Sales Manager**
🏢 **About Us:** A premier freight and logistics company in Charlotte, NC, operating a fleet of 18 trucks and serving manufacturing and construction clients across the East Coast, is hiring a Sales Manager.
📈 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Lead and coach a team of 4 B2B Sales Representatives: set targets, run daily stand-ups, and review complex deals.
• Drive new business acquisition: conduct cold outreach to manufacturers and distributors, and perform on-site client visits (up to 100 miles radius).
• Negotiate and close freight forwarding contracts: routing, pricing, and cargo liability terms.
• Analyze departmental KPIs: call-to-meeting conversion, route profitability, and team pipeline health.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 2+ years of B2B sales management experience (transportation/logistics preferred).
• Deep understanding of freight operations: CMR/BOL documentation, carrier liability, and fleet types.
• Proven ability to negotiate at the Director/C-level and close high-value contracts.
