A top-tier logistics company in Atlanta, GA, is seeking experienced OTR (Over-The-Road) and Regional CDL Class A drivers. We haul building materials, food products, and industrial goods across the Southeast and Midwest. Our fleet features late-model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Volvo VNL trucks equipped with APUs, sleeper cabs, and modern telematics.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Long-Haul Transport: Drive routes ranging from 300 to 800 miles between major distribution hubs and client facilities.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform rigorous DOT safety checks on the tractor and trailer before every dispatch.
• Freight Securement: Assist with or oversee load securement using straps, chains, and binders to ensure DOT compliance.
• Documentation: Manage BOLs, scale tickets, and customs/regional transit paperwork.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and ELD (Electronic Logging Device) mandates.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
• Minimum 2 years of OTR or regional tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to be out on the road for extended periods (depending on route assignment).
