A major commercial bakery in Portland, OR, is seeking a reliable Night Route Delivery Driver. We supply fresh bread, pastries, and baked goods to retail stores and cafes across the region. The night shift allows you to beat traffic and ensures stores are fully stocked before they open their doors.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Overnight Routing: Load trays of baked goods into a Mercedes Sprinter or Ram ProMaster and execute a 20-30 stop route.
• Manual Unloading: Deliver product to stores, kiosks, and gas stations (often involving hand-unloading if a dock isn't available).
• Documentation: Secure driver signatures on delivery manifests and handle cash collections.
• Pre-Trip Checks: Inspect the cargo van's fluids, tires, and refrigeration/ventilation systems before departure.
• Time Management: Ensure all deliveries are completed by 6:00 AM sharp.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License (Class C / Non-CDL).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts (starting at 10:00 PM) and handle physical unloading.
• Strong time management and navigational skills.
