🏭 **Warehouse Shift Supervisor (CPG / Household Goods)**
🏢 **About Us:** A major consumer packaged goods (CPG) distribution center in Columbus, OH, is hiring a Warehouse Shift Supervisor. Our 50,000+ sq. ft. facility stores over 3,000 SKUs of household chemicals, detergents, and cleaning supplies. You will lead a 5-person shift, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient inbound and outbound operations.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Team Leadership: Direct, train, and schedule a 5-person warehouse team, assigning daily tasks and enforcing safety protocols.
• Inbound/Outbound Control: Oversee the receiving of supplier pallets and the picking/packing of retail orders using RF scanners.
• System Operations: Manage transactions in the WMS (Warehouse Management System), print BOLs, and generate shift reports.
• Inventory Accuracy: Conduct daily cycle counts, investigate variances, and lead monthly physical inventory audits.
• Compliance: Ensure proper storage of hazardous materials (HazMat) and maintain OSHA compliance on the floor.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 3+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency with WMS software, RF scanners, and powered industrial trucks (forklift certification required).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and drive team performance.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy.
