🏢 **About Us:** A major online retailer of branded apparel and footwear in Columbus, OH, is hiring a Returns Processing Associate for our reverse logistics department. We ship hundreds of packages daily, and a percentage are returned due to sizing or color issues. We need an eagle-eyed specialist to triage, inspect, and restock items quickly.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Unpacking & Verification: Open returned parcels from carriers (FedEx/UPS), verify contents against the return manifest.
• Quality Inspection: Examine every garment and shoe for signs of wear, stains, missing tags, odors, or hardware damage.
• Sorting & Restocking: Route approved items back to active inventory bins by size and collection; route damaged items to the markdown/liquidation bin.
• System Updates: Update item status and condition codes in the WMS/CRM system.
• Repackaging: Prepare items for re-shipment (e.g., size exchanges) or storage.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Prior experience in retail, warehousing, or apparel inspection.
• Sharp eye for detail and knowledge of fabric/garment quality standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sorting environment.
