🏢 **About Us:** A leading distributor of professional construction tools and equipment in Atlanta, GA, is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerk. Our facility stores everything from heavy generators and rotary hammers to thousands of small fasteners and consumables. We need a highly organized individual to maintain bin accuracy, process orders, and keep the warehouse running smoothly.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Receiving: Unpack supplier shipments, verify quantities, and sort materials into designated storage zones.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for wholesale buyers and retail walk-in customers based on invoices.
• Issuing & Documentation: Hand over goods, generate outbound packing slips, and secure customer signatures.
• System Operations: Manage inventory transactions in the ERP/WMS system, print barcodes, and apply labels.
• Auditing: Participate in monthly and annual physical inventory counts, investigating and resolving variances.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Prior warehouse or inventory clerk experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS software (or strong aptitude to learn quickly) and basic MS Excel.
• High numerical accuracy and comfort with physical warehouse work.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
