With the spring home renovation season in full swing, we need a professional who understands that a $3,000 custom sofa or solid oak dresser cannot tolerate scratches, dented corners, or ruined upholstery.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Loading & Securement: Work with the warehouse team to verify order completeness. Master the art of loading: heavy items on the bottom and against the bulkhead, fragile items on top. Secure freight using ratchet straps, moving blankets, and cardboard corner protectors.
• White Glove Delivery: Execute 4-6 stops per shift (new builds, walk-ups, downtown offices). Navigate narrow stairwells, pivot large items around tight corners, and use appliance dollies and team-lift straps.
• Customer Experience: Call ahead, unpack items upon request, and ensure the client is thrilled. (e.g., We once removed a door from its hinges to fit a luxury Italian sofa, assembled it on-site, and earned a 5-star review).
• Documentation & Payment: Secure POD signatures, process mobile POS payments, and log any transit damages.
• Fleet Care: Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain a spotless cargo area.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License (Class C / Non-CDL or CDL B) with 2+ years of box truck experience.
• Exceptional physical stamina (lifting 100+ lbs repeatedly, navigating stairs).
