📦 **Warehouse Associate (Appliances / RF Scanner)**
🏢 **About Us:** A premier home appliance distribution center in Atlanta, GA, is hiring a Warehouse Associate. Our 100,000+ sq. ft. facility stores over 5,000 SKUs of refrigerators, washers, TVs, and small appliances. We need an organized professional to manage bin locations, oversee loading, and ensure flawless inventory accuracy.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Inbound Receiving: Unload supplier pallets, verify case counts, inspect for transit damage, and log receipts via RF scanner.
• Putaway & Slotting: Place inventory into precise bin locations (e.g., A-12-3) using an address-based storage system.
• Order Picking: Assemble customer and retail orders using RF-directed picking.
• Loading Supervision: Oversee the loading of box trucks, ensuring heavy items (like 180 lb refrigerators) are secured properly and drivers sign BOLs.
• Inventory Control: Conduct daily cycle counts and monthly physical audits.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably with large appliances or high-SKU retail.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Physical stamina to handle heavy, awkward items safely.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
