Because concrete sets quickly, your ability to manage time, maintain the drum rotation, and execute precise pours is critical.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Loading & Transit: Accept the load at the batch plant, verify the mix design and slump, and maintain drum rotation during transit to prevent segregation.
• Site Delivery: Navigate tight construction sites, coordinate with contractors and concrete pumps, and safely discharge the concrete.
• Washout: Perform thorough high-pressure washouts of the drum after every single load (mandatory to prevent hardening).
• Documentation: Manage BOLs, delivery tickets, and time logs.
• Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, focusing on the PTO, hydraulic drum motors, and water systems.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR.
• 1+ years of experience operating ready-mix concrete trucks.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot hydraulic and PTO issues.
• Physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
