🏢 **About Us:** A major distributor of agricultural machinery parts in Des Moines, IA, is hiring a Warehouse Parts Clerk. We stock over 15,000 SKUs, ranging from belts and bearings to complete engines and transmissions for John Deere, Case IH, and MTZ tractors. We need a detail-oriented professional to maintain bin accuracy and serve local mechanics and farmers.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Receiving & Putaway: Unload supplier shipments, verify quantities, barcode-label parts, and stock them in designated zones (e.g., Zone A for filters, Zone B for bearings).
• Order Fulfillment: Pull parts for walk-in customers (farmers, mechanics) and online orders using parts catalogs (EPC, TecDoc) or OEM numbers.
• Issuing & Documentation: Generate packing slips, secure signatures, and process returns.
• Inventory Audits: Participate in weekly cycle counts and monthly full physical inventories to resolve variances.
• System Operations: Manage inventory transactions in the WMS/ERP system or via Excel.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 1+ years of warehouse or parts counter experience (auto, heavy equipment, or ag preferred).
• Ability to read and navigate complex parts catalogs and exploded-view diagrams.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy components (engines up to 400 lbs, transmissions up to 200 lbs) safely.
• High numerical accuracy and accountability.
