A frozen food manufacturing plant in Seattle, WA, is hiring Packers for our dumpling, pierogi, and stuffed cabbage lines. You will be working in a chilled environment (approx. 55°F / 12°C). You will be provided with thermal gear, but you must be prepared for the cold. This is a specific environment that requires the right mindset.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Rapid Packaging: Keeping up with the line flow, placing products into trays or bags without bottlenecks.
• Weight Control: Ensuring every package meets the exact declared net weight.
• Seal Inspection: Rejecting any package with micro-tears or unsealed edges.
• Staging: Boxing the product and transferring it to the -0.4°F (-18°C) freezer warehouse.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Speed without chaos: frozen products deform if they sit too long before freezing.
• Mandatory: Food Handler Certificate, high personal hygiene, and willingness to wear gloves all shift.
• Prior food line experience is preferred, but we provide full on-site training.
