🏢 **About Us:**
A plastics recycling and baler facility in Miami, FL, is hiring Sorters for our MRF (Material Recovery Facility) conveyor line. We process massive volumes of PET bottles, HDPE jugs, and LDPE film. Your job is to pull the right plastics off the belt and keep contaminants out of the baler.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Standing at the conveyor, manually separating clear PET from colored PET, HDPE, and PP.
• Removing non-plastic contaminants (rocks, paper, rags, metal).
• Feeding sorted material into the baler hopper and staging finished bales on pallets.
• Keeping the work area clean so debris doesn't fall back onto the belt.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Ability to work in a noisy, odor-heavy environment (smells like hot plastic).
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to wear PPE (gloves, respirators, safety glasses) all shift.
• Focus: No scrolling on phones; you must keep up with the belt speed.
