Before starting any work, I inspect the site to identify load-bearing walls and locate pipes and cables to avoid damaging utilities in neighboring units. If there are structural concerns, we stop and verify with the project plans or downstairs neighbors rather than risk consequences from careless demolition.
We haul construction debris ourselves on the same or next day, never leaving bags in hallways for weeks. Dust during tile and screed cutting is controlled with construction vacuums, and we seal doors and windows of adjacent rooms with plastic to prevent dust spread throughout the apartment or house.
