Freelance IT specialist providing IT outsourcing services for small and medium businesses in Chicago—offices, retail stores, small manufacturing facilities that need stable computer equipment operation without maintaining an in-house administrator. I visit client locations for scheduled maintenance, and most routine issues are resolved remotely via remote access software.
I service employee workstations and laptops, configure and maintain local networks and Wi-Fi, administer Windows Server and Linux-based servers, set up data backups, antivirus protection, and access control for shared folders. Separately, I consult on equipment selection during office hardware upgrades—so clients don't overpay for unnecessary power where it's not needed.
For regular clients, I offer subscription-based service with a fixed monthly fee: routine equipment inspections, software updates, and emergency on-site visits without additional call-out charges. One-time requests are handled separately—hardware diagnostics, software installation, data recovery after system failures.
