I provide individualized math tutoring sessions in Chicago, IL, and online. Specializing in elementary mathematics for grades 1 through 6. We start by assessing your child's current level and goals: whether they need to fill knowledge gaps, prepare for an upcoming test, or build practical confidence in math. The format is tailored to the child's age, pace, and school schedule.
During our lessons, I combine clear explanations, visual examples, independent practice, and constructive error analysis. I use digital materials, shared documents, and engaging exercises, along with light homework to ensure progress continues between sessions. Complex math concepts are broken down into simple, manageable steps, without pressure or rushing.
I have formal training in elementary education and extensive experience working with young students of all levels. I provide regular feedback to both the student and parents on mastered topics and areas that need reinforcement. Sessions can be held in-person in Chicago or remotely, depending on your preference.
